The Blackburn Central 700 USB bike light delivers a high powered beam with plenty of mounting options. Whether you’re commuting, touring or cycling for fun, the Central 700 bike light soaks the path ahead with a consistent, dependable beam.

    Key Features:

    Meets ANSI FL-1 Standard

This standard was created by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to give consistent performance measurements for handheld lights. Although bicycle lights are not required to follow this or any standard, Blackburn believes in offering full transparency in how the output, run time, water resistance and other performance claims are measured.

    LED Fuel Gauge/Charge Indicator

A small built in LED light indicates the battery level. Green = >75%, Orange = 75-25%, Red = <25%

    Dual Beam Pattern

Dual beam pattern allows crystal clear near and far visibility.

    Replaceable Battery

Battery pack can be replaced in seconds.

    Universal Light Mount

The silicone mount fits diameters from 22-35mm along with a clip for clothing, bags or racks.

    Micro-USB Rechargeable

The Blackburn Central charges via any standard USB port.

    Great light, poor mount

Great light that performed well on lowest output on pitch black country lanes. However, as others have said this good light is let down by a poor mount - the light slips to near vertical on any bumps at speed no matter how hard the mount is tightened. I will buy a metal Go-Pro mount that I can really tighten to resolve the problem. Fine for me as I don't intend to take the light on and off the bike regularly but could be an issue for commuters. That said at the discount price i paid I still think that even with an extra £10 for a better mount this is a good value light.

    Bargain - with extra purchase

Okay - the online reviews all say the mount sucks but the light is great. I haven't even used the mount; this light has a GOPRO fixing. I used some of the money I saved and bought a cheap aluminium GoPro bar mount. Brilliant investment. The light has some useful memorised settings, the battery run time is comparatively good. It has side illumination. There isn't much to grumble about for the reduced price. The battery replacements don't seem to exist in the wild, so that might be an issue one day.
