The guide is divided into four sections covering The Clwydian Hills, The Berwyn Mountains, Mynydd Hiraethog, Coed Llandegla and Llyn Vyrnwy
Each section starts with details of local services and information on the area. Routes are divided into four levels Family Classic Expert and Epic, with technical grades for difficulty from 1-5. It is famously difficult to grade mountain bike routes, but the guide has been written in such a way as help the rider choose the ideal ride for their level of expertise
Mapping is based on standard Ordnance Survey 1- 25,000 mapping, but the routes have been completely redrawn to highlight the most important information whilst giving the rider additional detail to help with getting the most out of the trail
