The Castelli ProSecco Ice Active Cooling sleeveless baselayer is the ideal companion to a light summer jersey on those hot rides.  At 80g it is ultra-light, you’ll forget you’re even wearing it.  But, where this base really comes into it’s own, is with body temperature regulation.

The baselayer is made with ProSecco Ice fabric which actually cools you down faster than sweat evaporation alone.  The fabric actively transfers sweat and heat away from your skin as you ride, to really help cool you down.  You can see this effect taking place as you ride by looking at the dynamic print - it will change where heat transfer is taking place.

Being sleeveless you can easily wear the ProSecco Ice baselayer underneath a light Summer jersey, and the extended cut allows you to tuck the base into your shorts. You also benefit from 50+ UPF protection to protect your skin from damaging rays.
