It used to be that for early spring races the Belgians would cut a hole in an old sock and turn it into a basic shoe cover. Now Castelli bring you Belgian booties that feature a double knit in the foot, for better protection and durability, it has a higher cut so it can cover a 9cm sock. And best of all those silver grey bands around the ankle are made with reflective thread for extra safety on those dark damp training rides.
