With its high tech fabric, well thought out ventilation features and competitive price the Endura Gridlock II is a firm favourite of ours here at Tredz. Suitable for year round commuting this also makes a good budget mountain bike jacket and will perform well whatever the weather throws at you.

Made from mid-weight 2-layer waterproof ripstop fabric and fully seam-sealed the Gridlock has a nice comfortable cut, with a bit of room for an extra layer when things get cold. Mesh lining aids breathability and venting is excellent, with full length underarm zips and shoulder vents. Velcro cuff adjusters - easy to use with gloves on - help keep the rain out or to let extra air in, depending what you want.

Reflective tabs, subtly styled into all the key points on the jacket, offer good all round visibility at night. The chest pocket has a waterproof zip to keep the rain out and the easy access rear pocket has a tab for attaching a rear light for extra visibility.

“I rode Cardiff to Paris in a Gridlock and it hammered down. The weather was extreme and, considering the price, I was very impressed at how well the jacket performed."

    Dave, Tredz staff

    Excellent all rounder

As you would expect from endura this jacket is excellent build quality and still keeps you dry even when it has water soaked mud stuck all over it where many others fail when covered in mud as the water can't run off easily. Reasonably light, Comfortable, Waterproof, Warm, Good ventilation up the climbs, At this price you really can't go wrong!!

    Great for commuting

Very pleased with the Gridlock jacket, which I use for commuting in cold and rainy conditions at this time of year. I'm 5ft 11" and 11 stone and the medium fits really well. Plenty of room underneath for base layer and mid layer if needed. With a base layer and the Gridlock I'm just about getting warm by the end of my 15-20 mins commute in low temperatures of between 0-5 degrees C - anything warmer and I do start to overheat. I've been out in numerous downpours and it keeps me dry inside.

    Most excellent Tredz... Thanks Bill

Superb jacket for MTB discipline wind proof certainly ... Waterproof yet to be discovered as we've fortunately had a dry October. Really nicely cut to cover your Rs. Great service from the guys at Tredz fast delivery & managed to give £5 off when my discount code never worked! I'll be back 👍🏻

    Great fit and waterproofness

I bought this for the London to Cambridge bike ride a few weeks ago. As it hammered down with rain. Although I was fairly soaked through, this jacket held up well and kept my top half dry. It looks great (have it in blue), fits well, not too snug and air flow is good whilst cycling.
