The Exposure TraceR rear light is a powerful piece of kit. As rear lights go the 75 lumen output is very bright thanks to the Cree XPG red LED at it?s heart. You can expect anywhere between 3 and 24 hours of burntime depending on which light mode you?re using. The TraceR comes with Exposure?s Optimum mode selector so you can choose the most efficient lighting for the condition; and save battery.

The shape of the TraceR means you get exceptional sideways visibility for added safety when on the roads, especially and cross junctions and roundabouts. This is a great commuter light that fits snugly under your seat, and when you?re at work you can recharge the battery for the way home.

Made from machined aluminium, this Exposure light is durable enough to endure the rigours of daily riding and still perform. The mount is also angled so the light point directly out at driver level (instead of pointing down on the tyre) improving your visibility. The pulse option gives an impressive burst of brightness on a dimmed constant beam which will really mark you out on the road.

The TraceR rechargeable light is at the premium end of the market, but for the price you?re getting maximum visibility on the road with a compact and durable product.

    Exposure TracerR

Very neat light and compact fitting. Gives off very powerful rear beam which I was looking for. Limited use as near winters end. Will be interested to see how durable USB socket cover is next winter.

Good supplier of a great light

First, I must congratulate Tredz fulfilling my first order from them, they kept me informed about delivery and included some free gifts in the box! Customer service matters so I will be happy to return and buy more from Tredz. The other reviews here and on youtube are fair but I must say that I was disappointed with the instruction sheet which is terse and unhelpful. So far I have figured out how to turn it on and off in its default setting. No idea what the other settings do or mean practically. I'll figure it out eventually, but when you build and market a great product such as this, it is a shame to fall at the last fence with a casual slip of paper as a customer guide. Great light, small footprint and recommended despite my minor whinge.

A lot of light for it's size

A friend purchased one a few weeks ago, it was by far the most visible light between all of us on a moderately foggy morning. So good, that I ordered one when I got home. Super impressive; it may seem expensive, but after the foggy outing, it was worth it. Been out in rain and mud with it, haven't had any issues with build quality.

    Great wee light

Bit shocked when it arrived about how small it is but really pumps out the light and is highly visible from the side as well. Seems very well made, easy to charge and charge lasts well. Bit more than i would normally pay but well worth it

    Solidly built, bright rear light

The good: As a light for the back of your bike, this product is excellent - really, really bright. The seat post clamp is easy to fit and remove and very solid. The light itself is quite heavy, which I like as it feels solidly made and robust. Battery life (and indicator) good. The bad: The charging point is fiddly and could do with being refined, as could the on/off button. Overall I really like this light, and if the next generation version sorts out the bad points, I would say it would be a perfect product.

Best rear bike light i have ever owned

I have been using this light for over a year on my daily commute and its incredibly bright. I feel confident even on unlit country lanes. It is beautifully made and I would highly recommend.

    Power!

I got this light for commuting on dark country lanes. Seems to do the trick cars are taking a wider route around me and the battery life is really good and great feedback of status too. A little confused on changing power levels though.

    Great light needs charging regularly.

Great light bright and v. easy to fit and use.Its a neat little thing and seems very well made but loses a star for needing vaseline to keep the usb seal watertight.Needs regular recharging but easily holds charge for stated times 6hrs on brightest flashing mode.
