Featured in the 2016 Dirt 100 ' inspiring a full on approach to anything and everything ahead'

There’s nothing the Giant Reign 27.5 1 isn’t ready for with its stable geometry and nimble handling capabilities. Tame aggressive terrain with a fun and confidence inspiring enduro bike.

The Reign is developed with input from Giant Factory Off-Road Team for enduro racing. When the trails get rowdy the Reign is in its element. Definitely one for enduro racers and trail junkies, and for occasional uplift days.

Stability is crucial for fast and confident runs through rocks, roots and ruts. A slack head angle, long wheelbase and low bottom bracket keep you fixed while short chainstays let you flick through the corners.

Built from Aluxx-SL grade aluminium the frame is also double butted to shave extra weight without compromising strength. Formed tubes optimise frame design and smooth welding give you a lighter and cleaner looking frame.

Upfront the tapered Overdrive steerer offers a stiffer platform for knife-edge cornering at speed.

Equipped is the RC3 version of the RockShox Monarch Plus Debonair with 3 position compression adjuster. You can dial in the shock to match the trail you’re facing, whether you’re climbing or descending. The shock delivers a plush ‘coil like’ feel with great small bump sensitivity and big hit performance.

The RC3 is matched to the 160mm travel RCT3 version of the Pike Solo Air fork. The fork also features a 3 position low speed compression adjuster with settings that match those on the shock.

Giant’s Reign 1 is so efficient on the descents (and a solid climber) thanks to the Maestro suspension system giving you 160mm rear travel. Four pivots combine to create a floating pivot point that works independently of pedalling and braking forces. Active suspension responds to all surface conditions from high frequency trail vibrations to big hits and compressions. Maestro works predictably and consistently whatever you’re doing - pedaling, coasting or braking.

The SRAM X1 drivetrain gives you all the gears you’ll need without having more than a single ring up front. Chain retention is excellent even over the roughest terrain due to the clutch feature on the rear mech and ‘thick/thin’ chainring teeth.

SRAM Guide RS brakes are extremely powerful for confident stopping in all conditions. They also have great modulation.

Quality DT Swiss M 1700 Spline wheels are tough but lightweight and easy to convert to run tubeless. Rounding off the package is the RockShox Reverb dropper post - still one of the best performers.

Equipped is a Shimano SLX/ Deore  2x10 speed drivetrain matched to powerful Deore disc brakes. The setup is designed for rugged off-roading. Durable Giant P-AM2 wheels can take the hits, time after time. A Giant Contact SL Switch R dropper post allows you to get athletic on your frame.
