The Giant Speedshield 700 Tour are great clip-on mudguards for large 700c wheels. At incredible value you get a quality guard that fits easily to your bike with simple yet stylish looks. The quick release feature is great for switching the Speedshield 700 between bikes or for when conditions are dry.

Made from a durable polymer material these clip-on mudguards are equipped to deal with all winter riding. They won?t crack and split with the impact of small stones, and the wide arc provides decent coverage for you and your bike.

    Average guards

These mud guards are ok. Not the best but they do what they are supposed to do. I've a giant roam so you think they would fit perfectly but they don't got them on in the end with some adjustments.

    Universal Fitting

Bought these for my Escape 3, would think that Giant branded, 700 mudguards would be a straightforward fit on a Giant bike with Giant 700c wheels, however these mudguards are quite 'generic' and use 'universal' fittings that needed some adaptation. I guess that with some degree of patience, and improvisation, these mudguards would fit all but very few bikes, but without some modification or other there's probably not many bikes that they'd fit straight on to. They do look slightly too wide for my 32c wheels, the description does say they are to fit 35c-45c wheels, so that's fine and I'd expect that, on the plus side though, I suppose they'll give better protection than narrower ones. I've ended up using an M5 bottle cage/frame bolt to bolt the rear mudguard fixing in place and a 60mm bolt through the head tube to secure the front bracket. The only fixings I've used that were originally supplied are the plastic spacers/washers. Although it is possible to remove the mudguards from the fixings, I don't think the plastics would hold up to many repetitions of being clipped off and on before wear, flexing and distortion begins to occur and things aren't so 'tight'. Now mine have been fitted nice and securely, they're staying where they are! Perfectly functional, decent guards, glad I went for these in the end rather than a down-tube/seat-post mounted set, despite having to apply some creative mounting techniques!

    MUDGUARD REVIEW

Well made product but unfortunately i will be returning due to not fitting my Giant Seek bike. It would be helpful if you listed which bikes it fitted.

Just the job for a Giant Seek 0

I bought these for a Giant Seek 0. Excellent fit very well made and easy to install...and does not detract from the cool look of this bike. Did not need all the fittings supplied for this bike. Tredz service was excellent and deserved mentioning in this review.

    Giant Mudguard

Really good value mudguard set for 700c. No thrills just does the job and doesn't look out of place.
