Rim:
Stiff and reliable the S6000 series aluminium 26" rims are disk brake specific. Designed for cross country and trail riding the 19mm internal width is suitable for 1.5 to 2.3 size tyres.
Spokes:
Straight pull spokes are stronger than traditional j-bend ones. 24 steel spokes with brass nipples are laced in a crossed 2 pattern front and rear.
Hub:
Aluminium hub bodies have sealed cartridge bearings for reliability. The freewheel uses Mavic?s FTS-X system. Designed to meet the demands of mtb riding the strengthened pawls and self locking axle screw offer excellent reliability.
Designed for 6 bolt disk mounting the front wheel is available in two axle types; the INTL 9 is for quick release skewers, the INTL 15 is for 15mm bolt through axles - although quick release skewers can also be used with optional adaptors (not supplied). The rear wheel is QR only.
