    60 lumen output

The Moon Shield 60 is a very powerful rear bike light.  The single Cree XPE LED gives out an impressive 60 lumen for a rear light.

    Commuter friendly

A tool free, quick release bracket is great for switching the Shield between bikes or removing for security whilst at work.  You can also charge the Moon Shield 60 from flat in just 2 hours with any USB port.  A low battery indicator will help you keep a tab on how much charge you have left.

Water resistant, durable and bright - everything you need from a bike light.

    Good but some drawbacks

It's appears well made. It's very bright and the battery life is good. Minus ponts: it's fiddly to slide on and off its mount; there are no intermediate battery warning lights (like other makes) so you have no idea how much charge is left until it's almost empty. It has one simple slow on and off flashing mode and one useless 'strobe' mode where it flashes uncomfortably fast. Also 3 levels of brightness for continuous light. Other makes have more useful modes. Overall it's OK.

    Bright and lightweight

Very compact, very bright rear light, good for commuting. Plastic clip is a bit fiddly to get light on and off so you need to take the whole mount off the bike to charge. USB charge is a different connector to other USB lights I have which is a bit of a nuisance.

    Bright, bright, bright

Great rear light. Very bright with plenty of settings. I'd have preferred a captive strap but a minor gripe

    Amazing Super Bright Light

I had a Moon Shield 60 for 4 years of daily commuting, before I broke the bracket in a crash. It's almost bomb proof, but not quite. It's seen a lot of rain and the USB cover might look a bit flimsy, but is absolutely fine. It's amazingly bright, easy to use and for the money can't be beaten. I'm buying another!

    Good Light with nice features

Very sturdy light, with secure USB cover. Can be operated with gloves on but much easier without gloves. Very bright light, however slightly narrow beam (50 degrees i think from packaging info). I use as a helmet light. Handy mounting options, could attach to most areas of you/your bike, I'm sure!

    Quality product

I use Moon front and rear lights already and bought this as a present for someone as I think the brand makes good quality lights and very bright too. Tredz seemed to have this one at the best price on the web also.

    Best rear light

Having been very pleased with Moon Meteor front light decided on purchasing a rear light to match. Wow it is sooooo bright. My riding partner will not want sit in my wheel any more, will have to go on the front, result. Seriously good light.

    Moon shield 60

Bought for commute into work on city streets. Bright enough to really stand out from other traffic. As always with Moon sturdy build quality and easy to operate. Shame no helmet mount available.

    Super bright back light

Fellow cyclists regularly comment on how bright this light is and thats on the lowest (default) setting. This is my second as the first one fell off due to the back cover failing. This model has been improved in that respect and has better attachment brackets. Great value at <£23.
