Excellent and extremely light mtb shoe

I've been using these shoes now for months in all weathers and even on the tough 100 miler South Downs way and they've performed without fault, easy to clean, extremely light, and great build quality. Obviously they are not waterproof but combined with a thick seal skin sock you can use them in the wet and still have fun on the trails. I used them as non spd first then after a few months simply changed them to spd. If you should come to a climb that's to steep to ride up,the lightless and freedom of movement these shoes offer means you can walk anywhere in them with confidence. All in all I highly recommend the nw escape shoe.

A must for flat pedals

I have to say I was sceptical about the support these shoes will offer but have to say they are every bit as supportive as my five tens but without the weight. They also wash off very well with all the winter mud falling off with just a point of the hose. Lots of grip on wet flat pedals too, although I would recommend pedals with studs going through the centre of the pedal for extra centre grip wouldn't go a miss as the grip on the sole of the shoe is a little on the hard side, overall extremely light and would recommend these shoes to anyone who dosn't want to use spd's in the winter months, spd compatible if you want to use them that way too:)
