    Pricey, but does the job

Ordered this as I wanted some confidence in truing my own wheels. The build quality is solid (this item is heavy), but it does what its supposed to do. It is pricey for what it is (a bike frame and zip tie would do the same job) but its a great home workshop addition and allows you to true the wheels more comfortably and accurately than leaning over a bike frame. Assembly was quick and setup was easy. The gauge adjuster dial is a bit stiff and getting the gauge accurately within millimetres of the rim whilst trying to tighten it is a bit of a faff. Personally, I referenced a book that I had on how to true wheels perfectly and the results were excellent; true wheels in a matter of minutes. Ultra fast delivery and excellent service from from Tredz too.

Does what it says on the tin!

An ideal set up for occasional home use. If you want to true your wheels, this will definitely do the job. Build quality is excellent, no frills but solid and reliable. I have only given it four stars for performance because for very little extra there could have been a pointer on both sides, thereby meaning I wouldn't have to reverse the wheel to check. Value for money seems a tad on the expensive side for what it is, but I would still heartily recommend it as it take all the guesswork out and makes the job quick and easy.
