What are cycling jerseys?
Cycling jerseys are much more than just a t-shirt – they’re cut for your shape on the bike, plus they wick well and dry fast to keep you comfortable.
Who needs a cycling jersey?
Any cyclist will benefit from a jersey. They don’t hold onto sweat like normal clothing, so you’ll be more comfortable. They also have pockets in all the right places for riding a bike.
What are the choices?
You can get long sleeve or short sleeve jerseys to suit the seasons. Also, mountain bike jerseys are cut looser than road jerseys if that’s the look you prefer.
What should I buy with it?
Jerseys work best if you layer them over a base layer. The base layer transfers sweat quickly from your skin and keeps you warm in cold weather. Arm warmers are also great to extend the wearability of your short sleeve jersey well into autumn.
Jerseys usually have one or more pockets on the back. Make sure yours has adequate space for everything you need to carry on the bike.
