RockShox weren't the first to produce a dropper post but the Reverb's faultless performance certainly makes them standout now.

If you are new to the advantages of being able to adjust the height of your seatpost on the fly then be prepared for you mtb riding experience to change for the better. The ability to drop your saddle at the drop of a hat will allow you to enjoy every bit of downhill technical trail, no matter how short, without having to compromise on pedaling efficiency on the rest of the trail.

The RockShox Reverb is so easy to operate and the action so smooth that it easily outperforms most other dropper posts. Height positions are not restricted and can be infinitely adjusted so you can find that perfect middle ground for pedaling over technical terrain. Seat return is damped and moves at just the right speed.

Reliability is the other advantage of the Reverb. The seal on the post is as good as RockShox fork seals keeping the dirt out effectively even if you regularly ride in the very worst weather conditions. Operated through a handlebar mounted hydraulic button the whole system is sealed and doesn't suffer from sticky cables like some other systems.

Available in 100mm or 125mm drops and in a variety of widths the Reverb will fit most frames. This is the original external cable routing model which is compatible with all frame designs. Just decide which side you want the lever on and match the size to your mountain bike frame before you buy.

Does exactly what it says on the box

Great piece of kit! Especially if you do a lot of downhill and get fed up of stopping and adjusting saddle height. You will definitely need to cut the hose but I didn't need to bleed it afterwards,I saw a few cheaper ones advertised but they didn't have the bleeder kit etc so beware.

    Reverb Seatpost

This is a great bit of kit and anyone doubting getting one is missing out big time. The kit comes with all the bits necessary and even fluid and syringes to bleed the seatpost if you need too. Also included are cable ties and a runner to guide the hose, an enduro collar which im still not sure what it is. Torx key and loads more useful bits to make the fitting easy. You might/will need to cut the hose down but again check out youtube for help with this. Some good youtube vids on how to bleed are available. This is quite a lot of cah to fork out for a seatpost but when your open your box you will see where your hard earned has gone. Before you buy consider which side you want your remote mounted, I have opted for a right trigger but mounted upside down on the left. This means if you need to flip the bike you wont rest the bikes weight on the trigger and it also keeps it tucked out the way. Many people I know have done this. Bought mine 5 months ago and last week I noticed after riding at full height it was dropping 5 - 8mm. Tredz advised me to send mine back with the Free returns and a week late I have a brand new sealed reverb from SRAM. This is excellent service from the team and an excellent product. I have had KS droppers before and they just dont meet up with the service from RS. Thanks Guys

    Excellent Investment

I was not sure I wanted to be spending £190 on a seat post but after a few bike trails I could see the benefits. There are a few cheaper options out there but it was worth spending the extra. If you are going to do one upgrade on your bike a dropper post is the one.

No more stops before the downhill section

Not cheap (at usual retail price) but worth it. Feels very well built and solid. Truth is there is very slight play in the seat but you don't feel it when you're sat on it. I wish I had spent the extra £40 for the stealth just coz it looks slicker without the cable but am very happy with the Reverb.

Quality post that sets up easily

This lightweight hose actuated post can't really be faulted. A bit more work to set up than a cable actuated post but easily done by a novice. The actuator is notoriously delicate so make sure to get one that lines up on the opposite side to how you set it up. So left if it's going on the right. This allows you to run it under the bar so less likely to be damaged. Cutting the hose to length and bleeding the hose is a breeze with the kit provided. Buy this post with confidence

    Does the job

Droppers are like mobile phones. Before I had them I never needed them, but now I can't imagine riding without them. The reverb is the best of the bunch IMHO.
