Great first bike, nearing perfect after a few changes

The key point I want to make clear first of all, is that no matter the issues I have had, Tredz customer service has been outstanding! I have had the bike for about 6 months now and have ridden near enough every weekend. The trails I have ridden range from the short, easy going 5mile blue route at Hicks lodge to squeezing along trails at 1500ft in wales on the Marin and Penmachno trails. This is also my first real mountain bike and have learnt no end on it and from it. Now you have an idea what it has been thought let me tell you about the bike. For the money its is absolutely fantastic and great for getting you off the couch and onto the trails. Only once I started riding faster and trying to hit some more technical lines did I start to have issues. The Suntour forks are, to be polite, pants. They say 100mm travel, but expect 80mm travel, and i'm not a small lad. I have had to take them apart twice, replace the remote lockout and replace the rebound shock. On more technical trails the ride becomes very bounce and slightly difficult to control, also the fork is not tapered, so you are unable to take full advantage of the tapered frame. At this point in time, I am also missing the bolt that holds the RLO shock in palce within the fork. It has broken/fallen off somewhere in the Forest of Dean. Subsequently I have order the RockShox 30 Gold TK Solo Air Forks to replace the Suntour set. On top of this, I have also had to fork out for a new headset. The Syncros headset that comes with it, worked well until completely seizing up on me one day. This has now been replaced with a more expensive Hope ZS44 and ZS55. The bike has work beautiful with the new headset, and feel much lighter on steering. With the upgraded headset and RockShox Air forks, I am expecting much greater things from this bike and fully expect it to deliver. I would have been much happier to pay £100 more for the bike, had it been fitted with these forks already. Tl:Dr - Perfect customer service, Great bike, needs better shocks
