    Excellent

Just traded up to SPD from flat pedals so these are my first SPD shoes. I can't fault them at all very well made and a good fit, a pr virus review mentioned buying a bigger size but I ordered my usual size 9 and they fit fine but I suppose that is a personal thing. Overall highly recommended.

    Scott Trail shoe

Bought these for touring so wanted something inconspicuous. These fit the bill. Bought a bigger size as recommended and they fit perfectly. They are light in weight, appear well made and are comfortable. Fitting the SPD cleats was easy, on my model the rubber cover was screwed on, so easy to remove. Overall pretty impressed.

    Scott trail Velcro and laces

Have had these a couple of months now and they are performing well, commuting and XC. As with all my cycle shoes, I went for next size up and fitted well. Couple of things to mention tho. One is the need for craft or Stanley knife to cut out sole to fit cleats, other SPD shoes you can just unscrew the area over plate, bit awkward as soles gluing on one of mine had strayed and needed plyers to get enough grip to get it off. Other thing, I had to change the laces. Originals had a loose weave and kept getting caught up on the Velcro strap. Might be I'm a bit untidy with loosening laces and strap but annoyed me so changed to tight wound laces and now much faster getting in and out of them.
