Weight: 194g (½ pair, size 42 - without Warp Sleeve)

Save up to 35 seconds over 40km with the new 2016 Specialized S-Works Sub 6 when compared to last years S-Works road shoe. The Sub 6 is the most aerodynamic and lightest road cycling shoe that Specialized has ever produced.

    Lace-up benefits

Specialized S-Works Sub 6 does away with heavy ratchets, dials and velcro strapping in favour of simple laces. Laces reduce weight, and when combined with the Warp Sleeve, an elasticated lace cover, you’ll slice through the air with minimal drag.

    Carbon stiffness

Underneath is Specialized’s stiffest and lightest ever FACT Powerline carbon plate. It’s so stiff it measure 13.0 on the Stiffness Index. Every watt is charged through the pedals into forward motion.

    Superior fit

Dyneema fabric which wraps the whole shoe uses directional fibres which are thermo-bonded. The result is an ultra lightweight fabric that is forgiving but not stretchy - ideal for racing. This is the same material used by NASA on the parachutes that slow down space shuttles.

The PadLock tapered heel and moulded heel cup works to lock your foot in place for a more secure fit, and improved energy transfer.

    Race ready performance

The S-Works Sub 6 comes with a Body Geometry sole and footbed are ergonomically designed to fit your foot and scientifically tested to boost power through the pedals. By tipping the footbed slightly to the outside your hips, knees and feet are aligned. This improves energy transfer and lowers your risk of injury.

    Three-bolt cleat pattern

Fits all major road pedals. You can also rotate the Titanium alloy cleat nuts to position your pedal/cleats 5mm further back if you wish.

    Very small fitting

Ordered from Tredz and they took 14 days to arrive. I was disappointed with the tiny size of these shoes. I have 2 other pair of specialized shoes and wear a 43 or 44. I ordered these in 43 and could barely squeeze my foot inside even with the thinnest socks I have. They are extremely narrow. The warp sleeve is pretty comical. It took me 5 minutes to get them on and that is without cleats on. With cleats I can imagine it being a 20 minute job. The warp sleeves are just too small and too fidly to be of any use.
