The Thule 960 wing bar is one of Thule's quietest, most aerodynamic roof bars. They're practically silent, giving a 90% reduction in sound energy over the previous aerobar models at 122 km/h and were tested in Thule's own bespoke wind tunnel testing unit.
The T-track slots allow you to quickly and securely fit Thule roof mounted carriers and accessories and the bars come complete with the specialised footpack, vehicle specific fitting kits and the load carrier bars, so you're ready to go.
As with all Thule products, there's a 5 year warranty.
Great product, seems quieter than the standard bars, easy to fit. And if bought from Tedz, very good value!

There are three main types of car rack – towbar, boot and roof mounted. The table below shows the key benefits of each.
Car Rack Type
Roof Racks / Bars
Towbar mounted bike racks are fitted to a towball or towball mounting plate. If you’re looking for strength then these racks are for you. If access to your boot is essential you can get a towbar rack which can tilt out of the way.
Towbar and boot racks keep your bikes out of the airflow which improves fuel economy and reduces noise when you’re travelling.
Boot strapped racks are very easy to fit with plenty of adjustability letting you fit them to most car models. These are the most affordable way to carry multiple bikes with you.
Roof racks and bars are great because you don’t have to worry about reversing your car into tight spaces. Also as your bikes are up and out of the way they are harder to steal.
To ensure this rack fits your car please visit Thule's rack compatibility chart. Simply enter your car make, model and year to see if this rack is compatible.
Most car racks can fit up to two bikes, but you can get racks that fit up to four bikes weighing about 15-20kg each. If you’re going to be taking the whole family for a ride then a towbar rack is probably you’re best bet.
This will vary but boot racks and roof mounted racks will often be able to take 15-20kg bikes. Check the product description for more information.
If you ride a heavy bike such as an E-bike, fat bike or sturdy DH bike then look for a strong towbar rack with wide wheel holders.
You need to make sure your rear lights and number plate aren’t obscured by in any way by a rack or bike. If you want a towbar or boot rack the easiest way to ensure you’re road legal is by fitting a lighting board.
