Tredz now provides online finance options so you can spread the cost of bikes and cycling gear you want to buy immediately, over a time period that suits your budget. Our finance is supplied by V12 Finance who will provide you with a decision in minutes.
How do I apply?
Add the bike(s) or other cycling gear you wish to buy to your basket. When you continue to the Checkout, you will be able to select Finance as a payment option.
Obviously, online finance is only one option and should you prefer to pay outright you can checkout in the normal way and pay in full using your credit card, debit card or by cheque.
Which finance option is right for you?
There are three types of finance, your options will depend on the value of your purchase. These options are:
- CLASSIC CREDIT You can spread the cost of your purchase over 36 months, on any order over £250. The APR is 19.9% and 10% deposit is required.
- BUY NOW, PAY LATER Buy now, pay 10% deposit and pay nothing more for 6 months on any sale over £400. What's more, provided you pay the outstanding balance before the BNPL period expires, you will pay no interest! Please note that if your application is successful, an arrangement fee of £25 will also be charged.
- INTEREST FREE CREDIT This helps you spread the cost of top of the range performance bikes. Pay 10% deposit and spread your payments over 12 months. Typically this is available on any non-discounted sale over £1000. Some discounted bikes over £1000 may also be eligible, please call us on 01792 799508 to enquire.
On purchases over £800, you can get the same deal as above and defer payment for 12 months! Ride now, pay in 2009!
If you choose not to settle the outstanding balance in full before the 12 months BNPL period expires, you can simply continue to make your loan repayments on a monthly basis at the interest rate shown on the loan agreement.
Typical example:
Purchase of £999.99
Arrangement fee (if successful): £25
10% Deposit: £100 - no further payments for 12 months.
Final payment: £899.99 and finished!
OR: 36 payments at the interest rate shown on the loan agreement.

How do I apply for Finance?
When you get to checkout, select your preferred finance option. Simply follow the online application steps which should only take around 5-10 minutes to complete on V12's secure server. When you have completed the application, V12 will use the information you have supplied to reach a decision which will involve a credit search.
V12 will very quickly confirm the outcome and explain how to download and print the finance agreement.
Who can apply for Finance?
To apply for finance you must be:
- at least 18 years of age
- a permanent UK resident
- in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self employment, or in permanent residence with your spouse/partner who is in regular employment
- in receipt of pension if you are retired
- if registered disabled confirmation of sufficient income will be required.
What happens next if my application is approved?
If your application is approved you will be able to download and print the Credit Agreement which you will be required to sign and return to V12finance.com, our credit provider. Upon notification of receipt of the signed agreement Tredz will process your order and ship your goods.
What happens if my application is declined?
If our credit providers decline your application you will have the option of choosing an alternative method of payment (i.e. credit/debit card or cheque) and your deposit will be refunded to your credit or debit card.
Can I have my order sent to a different address?
Please note that orders paid for by Finance can only be shipped to the same billing address as on your application. It will not be possible for us to ship goods to a different delivery address.
