Cycle to work

In the UK 55% of total transport emissions come from personal car use with more than half of all car journeys being under five miles and many being less than a mile (Source: Sustrans). Many shorter car journeys could easily be cycled, and with the endless list of benefits for cycling to work (keeping fit and healthy, helping to reduce traffic and pollution, saving money) the Cycle to Work Scheme can help you get on a bike and out of the car.

If you are thinking of cycling to work, under the Cycle to Work Scheme an employer can loan bicycles and certain bicycle equipment to staff as a tax-free benefit. It’s a great way of having access to cycling equipment but not having to pay upfront for it.
