IT Business Analyst

Salary: Circa £30k (according to skills and experience)

An exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join an established eCommerce development team within a rapidly expanding leisure goods retailer in Swansea.

Our eCommerce development team develop and maintain multiple transactional eCommerce sites, under a range of brands. The continued rapid success of these sites now requires the expansion of the team to include a dedicated eCommerce Business Analyst

The job...

  • Work in partnership with the project manager and clients to maintain client development roadmaps
  • Work with multiple internal clients to scope and specify enhancements to our multiple eCommerce sites
  • Create detailed Functional Specifications, and manage the iteration and sign-off process of those documents
  • Work in partnership with the project manager to define and estimate project tasks
  • Act as the “go to” person during the development of the project for all questions regarding project scope, as defined in the functional specification
  • Contribute to the test cycle for system enhancements, to ensure that all the functional specifications have been delivered

The skills / experience...

  • 3+ years experience in a Business Analysis roles within a software development environment
  • Experience of specifying web / eCommerce projects highly advantageous
  • Ability to work alone or with a team
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with developers

Online Customer Service Representatives

We're on the look out for 4 new Customer Service Representatives. We pride ourselves on providing a fantastic buying experience and the highest levels of service to our customers.

You will become part of our dedicated customer service team where your responsibilities will include order processing, phone calls and, sometimes, helping people decide which bike to go for. Previous bike knowledge is definitely advantageous.

  • You'll be helping customers orders process smoothly and dealing with any issues as they arise
  • You'll be using custom order management systems and Microsoft software to process orders
  • You'll be receiving phone calls on a daily basis about anything and everything to do with cycling. It'll help if you know your way around - but you'll be surrounded by experts should you need help!

Bike Mechanic

We're on the look out for a new Bike Mechanic

You will be part of a very busy workshop with very high standards. You will cover all aspects of bike building, and servicing, from simple gear adjustments to full strip and re – builds.

The job...

  • 16 hours minimum per week, with competitive pay.
  • On the job training.
  • We don't care what people ride, so long as they do. Having the ability to offer non-judgemental advice is crucial.
  • We aim high - our workshop looks great and, thanks to our trained mechanics, they stay that way.
  • The job is very varied and you'll need to be ready to pitch in. One minute you'll be advising a customer, the next you may be test riding bikes.
  • Positions available in our Cardiff and Swansea Store

  • Self-motivated mechanic, who has knowledge of road and mountain cycling.

Part Time Customer Services (Tredz & Giant Swansea)

Salary: £Negotiable

We're recruiting for friendly, confident and consultative in-store Customer Service Representatives to join our team at Tredz in Swansea.

We're looking to hire quickly so please don't hesitate to apply if you're interested.

Working front of house, you’ll be the face of Tredz, providing excellent customer service and creating sales. Previous knowledge of cycling and bikes is advantageous but not necessary as full training will be given.

The job involves:

  • No day is ever the same in Tredz but as a Sales Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, advising them on potential purchases.
  • Taking bookings for bike maintenance and repairs for our on site workshop face to face and by telephone.
  • Actively promoting Tredz products and services to our customers and contributing ideas to increase sales of bikes and cycle accessories.
  • Ensuring that the shop floor is well presented and that all goods are priced and labelled correctly.

You are:

  • An excellent communicator both face to face and on the telephone.
  • Flexible and able to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Happy using a computerised till system.

You'll need:

  • A genuine passion for cycling.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • To be able to advise customers about the right products to buy, spotting opportunities for upselling.
  • To like no two days ever being the same!
  • Previous experience working in a bike shop would be great, but for the right person it isn't essential.
