Typical altura quality at a reasonable price, works well on cold windy mornings keeps the rain off as well. I am normally a large (40inch) chest but had to return for an X-Large . Excellent service as usual from Tredz.

What are cycling jackets?

Cycling jackets are designed to be the right shape for your position on the bike and are made of technical materials that will keep you comfortable as you ride.

Who needs a cycling jacket?

Cycling jackets have massive benefits over normal coats – they are warm but breathable, with lots of technical features like venting and zipped pockets.

What are the choices?

Cycling jackets are usually waterproof, windproof, or both. They range from close cut race jackets to practical, relaxed commuter coats.

What should I buy with it?

Some jackets have attachments for lights for extra visibility, so you might want to invest in some extras like this.

Anything else?

If you don’t want to look too much like a cyclist, there are loads of good looking casual style jackets that also look good off the bike. Most are still cut low at the back, for extra coverage and weather protection you need while cycling.
