Bianchi Nitron 9.4 29" Mountain Bike 2020 - Hardtail MTB
The Perfect Choice For The Speed Obsessed
Deep In The Dna Of Every Bianchi Bicycle Is A Competitive Spirit – A Will To Race, A Desire To Win.
The all new Bianchi Nitron is a competition ready, 29inch wheel, carbon fibre hardtail mountain bike.
The objective behind the new Nitron project is to extend the race winning performance pedigree of our elite level Methanol model, into a new frame platform, aimed at performance privateer cross country and marathon racers.
Sublime Rider Control
Constructed using our advanced carbon fibre lay-up technology, the Nitron frame uses highly-tuned tube profiles, from the head tube to the dropouts. Achieving an outstanding stiffness to weight ratio, pinpoint steering and sublime levels of rider comfort for long hours in the saddle and available in four sizes 15, 17, 19 and 21 inches. Every rider can achieve a perfect fit.
BB92 bottom bracket, tapered head tube, Boost 148 standard and 429mm short chainstays work together to create a direct pedalling platform and achieve the best power transfer.
Pro Rider Input
Developed with help from the Bianchi World Cup race team, the Nitron features new, revised ‘race ready’ geometry to help riders gain a competitive advantage in speed and agility – to rail every singletrack turn, and nail every drop, even at full race speed.
Our official racing team also inspired the addition of internal cable routing for a dropper seat post on the Nitron. Dropper posts are a growing trend for XCO and XCM riders, as they tackle ever more challenging and technical courses.
Precision Components
The Nitron features ultra-reliable race ready drivetrain components. The versatile component specification includes internal routing for the 2x Shimano side-swing front derailleur. Choose to run it 1x or 2x according to your preferences; you’ll never miss a gear.
Equipped For Speed
Fork with matched graphics add style and lightweight pro-level bump taming performance. With 100mm of travel and a remote lockout switch, the Nitron is ready to descend fast on trails and attack the climbs, at the riders command.
Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.

* Mountain bikes are sized differently to road bikes. Typically, they are sized in inches as the first MTBs were produced in the USA. European brands like Lapierre and Haibike like to use centimetres for all their bikes. The measurements of their mountain bikes doesn’t match their road bikes but are like a simple conversion from the inches measurement. This is why we have included cm measurements in brackets for the Mountain bike column.
Read our bike size guide for more information on sizing.
