It actually works when put on tne drop handlebars of a touring bike. I would feel lost without it.

Portable safety

If you have more than one bike and a smallish budget or you leave you bike where thieves are busy, this is for you. Fits and comes off quickly with a Velcro strap. Not as absolutely steady as the bar end version - but you can switch between bikes or remove for theft avoidance very quickly. Make sure the lock ring is tight (not over-tight) for best stability.
