Product Description

The Continental Mountain King MKII tyre is ideal for taking on rough, technical trails. It is fast-rolling, with plenty of traction and direct steering response thanks to its generous volume. The Mountain King II 2.2 is ideally suited to rough and wet XC courses, with a RaceSport carcass tailored to those conditions.

Whatever the conditions, the grip won't let you down and puncture protection defends against rocks and snakebite pinch-flats. Ramped outer lugs provide support and security in even the most adverse conditions.

Size matters

Everything about this tyre is great grips well in lots of different conditions reasonably tough and hardwearing not too heavy rolls pretty good but and there is a but the sizing is way off. The 2.4 I bought measures under 2.25. Maybe that wont matter to you but I think you should know before you buy what size you're getting. If you want a big volume tyre then this isnt it go for the trail king 2.4 instead.

Good all round tyre for trail centre use. Good in the wet good in the dry not so good in thick mud though.
