What is bicycle storage?

Storing your bike can be a difficult task, especially if you are pushed for space. Holding your bike securely in place can prevent damage and also free up valuable room, keeping everything neat and tidy.

Who needs bicycle storage?

Bicycle storage is ideal for any living accommodation, thanks to the number of options available and choices to suit all budgets. It’s especially good if you live in a flat or smaller house and you don’t want to keep your bike blocking up a hallway.

What are the choices?

There are storage solutions that are mounted to a wall, usually holding two bikes. There’s a rack for the back of a door and intricate pulley system storage which hoists your bike(s) up towards the ceiling. Bike storage also includes covers for journeys to keep out the rain, display stands and storage hooks.

What should I buy with it?

If the storage solution doesn’t already have padding, it’s great to add this to the hooks to prevent any damage to your bike. If you’re assembling the storage, our tools section might have some handy equipment to aid the task.

Anything else?

Check the weight/height capacity of the storage you have in mind, in case you haven’t budgeted enough space. This also reduces the risk of you accidentally overloading the storage.
