Product Description

The perfect partner for your lightweight summer shorts. The Endura Thermolite cycling leg warmers are a versatile way to keep your legs warm and dry if the weather takes a turn for the worst.

Thermolite® material is made using hollow-core fibres, offering an incredible amount of thermal insulation without the need for extra thick layering. The inner layer is highly wicking to help dry off your skin, while the outer layer has a water repellent Teflon® coating to prevent water ingress.

At both ends of the Endura Thermolite leg warmers, you’ll find a silicone gripper. This smooth & flexible band on the inside of the fabric ensures they don’t slip up or down your leg while you ride, so even without any extra straps, they’ll stay exactly where you put them.

"…Endura's Thermolite contain a Teflon fabric protector. Although not as effective as other water-repellant warmers we stayed a little bit drier and warmer when it was drizzly and wet on the ground than with regular warmers. The silicone grippers at the top and bottom meant there was no issue of them falling down..." – Cycling Active

    Warm and Versatile

These leg warmers stay up well and are nice and warm, and without the bulk of carrying an extra pair of longs when you're not sure of the weather. I use them with my bib shorts or also over longs, depending on the temperature.

    Warm and well made

These leg warmers are just what I needed. With the early mornings and evenings getting colder my old leg warmers simply weren't up to the job. These on the other hand are perfect. They do an excellent job of keeping your legs warm even on the coldest days. They are also pretty good at keeping the wet out although they will eventually soak through but still keep you reasonably warm. They are well made with a good strong zip. Personally I cant really fault them.

    Base Layer Guide

    What is a base layer?

A base layer is the top you wear next to your skin and under everything else while cycling. It’s soft, absorbent and wicks away sweat.

    Who needs a base layer?

Anyone cycling for any distance or length of time will really benefit from the extra comfort of a base layer.

    What are the choices?

You can opt for a long sleeve base layer in winter or a short sleeve one in warmer weather. Most are made from fast-wicking polyester, but there are also some in warm, soft merino wool or anti-bacterial bamboo.

What should I buy with it?

A base layer is your first line of defence in a layered clothing system, so it’s best with a jersey as a mid-layer then a windproof or waterproof outer shell for full weather protection.

    Anything else?

Base layers are simple and essential, but you can get some really technical options too. There are some with silver woven in to make them more resistant to odour and compression base layers which are said to help muscle recovery.

See our Layering for cyclists guide for more.
