Product Description

With the same race-winning geometry as the Team bike the Genesis Volare 10 offers high performance at an affordable price point. The chromoly construction offers a great balance of stiffness and comfort as well as the ever present ‘connected’ feel of steel.

Frame and Fork

The frame is the star of the show on the Volare. Made with the new ‘Mjölnir’ seamless, double butted chromoly tubes, the design team have increased the stiffness of the frame without increasing weight.

The feel of a steel frame is not to be underestimated. The compliance can only be matched by carbon fibre composites. This means that the Volare 10 is far more comfortable than other bikes at this price point.

A large 44mm headtube helps to keep the front end nice and stiff. The fork has carbon composite blades which help to absorb vibration at the front end. The ride is smooth with precise handling characteristics.

Components

The Fulcrum Racing Sport CX wheelset is great to see on a road bike built for UK conditions.  The upgraded hub seals that you get on the CX model means that these hoops will keep on rolling mile after mile no matter what the weather throws at you. The new-school 23mm wide rims also helps the Volare 10 to offer such a composed ride.

The Shimano Tiagra 2 x10 speed drivetrain is combined with an FSA Omega compact chainset. With reliable shifting and sensible gear ratios you will be able to make the most of your time on the road.

With its unmistakable feel of steel and race geometry the Genesis Volare 10 is a performance road bike that you can ride for mile after mile.

Brilliant
by Damian M on 27/08/2015

I've had this bike a month and honestly love it, had 1 problem with the rear brake and Tredz said to take it to a local bike shop and they would pick up the tab, no fuss or bother, deffo recommend just for customer service alone Size wise I'm 5.8 and got a 52 had to push the seat back a bit for a better reach and its spot on.

Mulled over many bike before choosing the Volare 10. Very, very happy with the bike. Build quality, comfort and turn of speed impressive from the outset. Value for money at this price is amazing. Customer service from Tredz was as excellent as everyone says.

Wow what a bike
by Daniel m on 19/08/2015

This is my first road bike and I've chosen an absolute gem! The steel frame is strong yet very light, even being the XL size. The ride offers excellent speed and precision with smooth gear changes. The bike looks superb. Well done Tredz for offering such a great deal.

The Dogs .........
by Daniel L on 13/08/2015

Comfort yet quick, value for money is jaw dropping! Bought this as a winter bike to throw around the roads in the wind and rain! The Steel frame will hold its own against any conditions, perfect bike for anyone who wants to get into road cycling.

A must
by jon f on 06/08/2015

After having my old road bike written off I need to find a replacement and after looking I came across this. I did a bit of research on the wheels and such, I don't think you can get a better value bike for the money even at full price.

brilliant bike for the money
by Nick S on 01/08/2015

This is my first road bike and I can't fault it one bit. The build quality is excellent and I have no gripes with any of the components. All in all a really good buy. Also tredz were brilliant no fuss and easy to use will be using them again.

Amazing value and goes like a dream!
by Isabelle M on 31/07/2015

This is my first road bike, so I have to be honest, I am not totally sure about what I'm talking about. (And having always been a thru-the-mud-over-dale mountain biker, it was a shock to the system!) But I found after my first ride, I felt very comfortable and stable. The gears change smoothly. The only thing is, I have fairly small hands and can't reach the breaks unless I'm on the drop bars, rather than the top. I'm hoping that if I get a service, the bars can be moved inwards to help with this. I did a tonne of research before buying this, and found that there are other bikes out there with the same spec, selling at £1,500 so this is a steal!

Gorgeous bike with fantastic components
by Bevan N on 29/07/2015

Bought this bike a few days ago and it comes pretty much built. Took it out today for the first time in London (not too scary really) and had a fantastic ride. It is a bit heavy but it gets going quickly and feels brilliant. I'm a novice but I would recommend it!

Buy this bike
by Matthew R on 25/07/2015

Absolutely wonderful road bike. Solid steel means it rides smooth and true. The look of the bike blows you away, then you actually ride it and it's even better. Given the spec and the price, you'd be mad not to!
