Product Description

Going downhill fast - the Giant Reign 2 excels on gravity fed trails while still getting you to the top of the hills fresh for the next run.

Completely redesigned for 2015, the 160mm suspension travel Reign now has 27.5" wheels, making it even more capable on the rough stuff compared to last years model. A slack head angle ensures stability at speed and short chainstays provide an optimum riding position when things get interesting. The ALUXX SL-Grade aluminium frame, with the proven Maestro suspension platform, will soak up the big hits with ease all day long.

Up front the RockShox Pike RC Fork - with a custom 46mm offset, optimized for steering precision - inspires confidence with precise, assured performance.

The Shimano Deore/SLX drivetrain provides crisp reliable shifting with a great gear range for trail riding. Powerful and reliable the Shimano Deore brakes will provide all the stopping power you need even on the steepest tracks.  Giants own Contact SL Switch-R dropper post gives you the freedom to enjoy every bit of interesting terrain without the need to stop and lower your saddle.

A very capable machine, with a great component spec at this price point, the Giant Reign 27.5 2 is an excellent choice for aggressive trail riding or enduro racing.

What a bike!!

Got this ss a replacement for a faulty Cube Stereo wish i had purchased this in the first place, totally transformed my riding and feels so dialled in compared to the Cube, natural riding position, good rake on the front gives excellent control. Really has boosted my confidence on the trails, in this price range I don't think you'll find better!

Awesome ride

If ur thinking of buying this bike ,please do ,you will not regret it ! Put's the power down well on the up's as long as you have both shock's locked out ,I did'nt find the 160 travel fork any problem during climbs 'no lift' ,this bike covers ground on the flat like nothing else awesome ,onto the Dh stuff ,well what can I say it's like Giant designed the frame around the Glory spec ,absolutley fantastic at the gravity stuff ,like riding on air ,it's that good ! A welcome addition to the Aberdaremtb family !

What a beast!

This is my first full sus. I have been smashing my poor hardtail around for too long. This thing is amazing. The components are great for the price and the pike and monarch combine perfectly to give the bike a really nice, balanced feel. The suspension feels so plush going down hill but the bike performs amazingly going back up. My biggest issue was that i knew when to slow down on the hardtail as i could feel the poor thing shaking, however the reign takes everything in it's stride, I have been riding my usual trails, but a lot more comfortably, a lot faster and with a much bigger smile on my face. Great bike,

Giant reign 27.5 2

I completed the West Highland Way on the Reign and it was superb ! It handled the climbs well and the down hills where fantastic the 160mm pike forks soaked up the drops and there plenty of them. The brakes probably should be the Xt however the Deore where more than capable for the job probably due to the 203 rotor on the front. The connect dropper worked great constantly in use due to the ever changing terrain on the WHWOver all fantastic bike at a quality price
