Product description

The Giant Roam 2 Disc merges the confidence and capabilities of a mountain bike with the efficiency of a road bike. A comfortable upright riding position provides good visibility and stable handling.

The Aluxx-Grade aluminium frame is light, stiff and strong. To save extra weight the tube walls have been butted, meaning excess material is shaved away.

Upfront an SR Suntour NEX fork offers 63mm of suspension travel to soak up bumps on uneven road surfaces. The fork can be locked-out for greater efficiency on smooth roads and climbs.

A Shimano 3x9 speed drivetrain with Shimano chainset offers a very wide range of gears so you can take on a range of conditions.

It’s great to see hydraulic disc brakes at this price point. Disc brakes are extremely powerful for confident riding. They’re also reliable in all weather conditions opening up the Roam 2 Disc as a year round bike.

Rugged Giant double wall rims with 40mm tyres are capable of riding on bumpy ground, whilst still rolling quickly on the road.

Best Bike

This is by far the best bike i have ever owned. I have been riding for leisure for a year. Mostly off rd. Ive started doing off and on rd and this bike handles both well. Gear change is easier than i have ever had before, one click and its straight there. I have had to make a minor adjustment to the front wheel as the disk was scraping on the brake pads. But it was a 5 minute job. Saddle is great although it looks hard, its probably the best saddle i have sat on. A good all round bike. Im still glad i bought it.

Good Commuter

Nice comfortable hybrid does well on dirt and in the daily commute. Solid for those that dont want to do too much off road, forks arent upto much.
