Product Description

HT ME05 magnesium alloy flats are the perfect setup for your DH, freeride or trail bike. At a super slick 11mm thick they give you plenty of clearance from rocks and debris when you’re shredding down a trail centre. At 11mm thick these are some of the thinnest pedals on the market.

20 bolt through replaceable pins offer brilliant grip even on tough, rugged conditions. As they’re bolt through, the pins are very easy to replace if damaged.

The ME stands for magnesium alloy. Magnesium is far lighter than aluminium, which brings the weight of these pedals down to a super light 288g.

Disapointed

When I opened the box I thought the platform looked to small, I now wish I had sent them back at this point. But I decided to give them ago and after one ride this is what I found. The pedals have tons of grip and are super light, but the main issue for me is the platform body sits very close to the crank arm and add in the small surface area to put your feet it doesnt feel like they have much support (Im a size 9-Fiveten VXi) In the pics I thought the side pins would help but they are lower than the other pins and my shoes felt like they were rolling off the pedals. It felt odd having to put my feet up against the cranks to feel planted. I am going to try and space the pedals out a bit using pedal washers. Overall this was an expensive mistake.
