The DBX 3.5 Junior Neck Brace is designed to fit younger riders and was tested and proven to reduce neck forces, thereby reducing your chances of a serious neck injury by up to 47%.

We also believe that no other neck brace can be adjusted to fit riders as well as ours can. The semi-rigid chassis is adjustable enough to fit most riders’ body shape while the structure remains very rigid to help transmit energy during an impact, which is key for reducing neck forces.

What is protective equipment?

Protective equipment includes knee pads, elbow pads, shin guard, wrist guards and back protection – any semi-rigid guards you might wear for risky riding.

Who needs protective equipment?

Protective equipment is often favoured by off-road riders, such as mountain bikers tackling riskier activities such as downhilling. Also, stunt riders such as BMXers or jump bike riders might also need them.

What are the choices?

You can choose padding for your arms, legs and back. Some protective gear is made from more flexible material that only hardens on impact – clever stuff.

What should I buy with it?

Don’t forget your head – a full face helmet offers you the best protection for more adventurous cycling activities.

Anything else?

Think about how your padding will fit with the rest of your cycling clothing. Does it go under or over your clothes and will it be compatible with the rest of your cycling wardrobe?
