Excellent jacket
by Anonymous user on 26/12/2018

Bought this jacket to see me through the cold Scottish winters. The jacket is excellent, I bought an older model so got a STEAL in the sale. I would however recommend the full price version if it is as good as this jacket. I had it out on a winters ride in around 6 degree plus wind chill and slightly colder in the shaded long descents. I had a summer short sleeve base layer on under the jacket with bib shorts and it was excellent. I only really noticed a chill on fast long descents. It is was much colder I would still use a winter base layer and it would get you through all but the wettest of days. Overall cracking bit of kit that fits well. I’m 5,2 and 38/40inch chest and the medium fits me perfectly, including my arm length which is 22inchs in length shoulder to wrist .

Madison Soft Shell
by Julian H on 07/02/2016

Purchased this to replace a Gore Phantom jacket. It's not quite as thick as the Gore, although it has a nice warm fleece lining. It is a snug fit, although there is no extra material to sag and catch the wind, and it's pretty warm even on colder days. The length is just right, including the sleeves which cover the wrist and overlap the glove. The 3 rear pockets are set at just the right height and can store plenty of kit. Overall it's a very good winter jacket which has a close fit and isn't bulky.

Great Value!
by Bob D on 31/01/2016

I have been after a winter cycling top for ages and have tried on loads in my quest. This is a great product for the price. It does however come-up quite small; I'm usually a M/L but had to upsize to an XL for this.

Snug & Stylish softshell
by mathew c on 29/01/2016

Very well made, snug fitting and very warm, went out in 3 degrees with a base layer underneath and felt comfortable and warm throughout, handy underarm zip vents let a bit of air in when needed. highly recommended.

Beat the winter gloom
by Lesley L on 27/01/2016

I was looking for a top layer that would be visible on country roads without being relective or flourescent. This is just what I was looking for. Pockets are useful as well.

A Good Design
by John H on 02/03/2015

A cosy jacket with slight stretch.A size up to XL for layers though used a thin over wind proof on a near zero morning temperature. Much pleased with this jacket.

Outstanding piece of kit
by Shing Wei M on 09/02/2015

This is a great piece of kit regardless of the price. The fit is spot on very comfortable on and off the bike. It does the business of keeping the cold out but I didt over heat at all thanks to the venting. Lots of reflective detailing and bright red which keeps you visible on the road a must for any time of the year.
