This Marin Fairfax SC2 IG 700c hybrid bike is in excellent condition. Having never been ridden, it is showing no signs of mechanical wear. However, it has some cosmetic imperfections on the drop outs and down tube.

Ideal for all types of urban cycling the Marin Fairfax SC2 IG is a no-nonsense commuting machine that offers the extra dependability of a hub gear system.
With its sporty geometry, the lightweight 6061 aluminium alloy frame gives you a comfortable and efficient riding position. While the frame offers robust dependability the rear seat stays are slim which offers a smooth ride over rough road surfaces. The rapid rolling 700c road bike wheels are shod with Schwalbe Road Cruiser puncture protection tyres for improved reliability. Full rack and mudguard mounts add versatility while the internal cable routing keeps the lines nice and clean.
The 8 speed Shimano Nexus hub gear system gives you a good spread of gears for urban road riding combined with low maintenance dependability. Especially useful for city cycling the hub gear system allows you to change gear while you are stopped at traffic lights - not something you can do with regular derailleur gears. Linear pull v-brakes offer powerful stopping control.
