The do anything bike

I've hankered after a Marin since my school days... in the 80s. Having ridden an Orange mountain bike and a Scott Road bike for a number of years I was looking for a bike that could eat the miles and still have some fun down the tracks and then load up for bigger adventures. This bike seemed to tick the boxes for me. My first trip was a wet 40Km ride in about 2.5 hrs over very mixed ground. The bike is comfortable on road but is never going to be a quick as a slick road bike... but my road bike would have never coped with the rutted tracks that I ended on. I've since used it for two days of leading groups on rides in the New Forest. Gravel trails and roads... A great ride. I'm loving it!! The flared handle bars are great. The bike arrived boxed from Tredz by courier. Super quick to set up and running smooth.
