Product Description

The Mavic Ksyrium Pro Thermo road cycling shoes are built to keep your feet warm and dry during the toughest winter conditions thanks to the GORE-TEX outer and road specific construction.

Mavic put everything we know about keeping feet warm, dry and performing well in tough winter conditions into these all-weather road cycling shoes. With its GORE-TEX outer, neoprene ankle gusset and water-resistant zip, no overboots are needed.

The durable outer layer is completed by a reinforced rubber toecap and reflective strips to help keep you visible in low-light conditions.

Beneath this weather-proof outer layer is the high-end components you’d expect from a Mavic shoe: a composite outsole for effective power transfer, Ortholite inner soles, and our Ergo Dial lacing system for accurate adjustment - even when it's so cold you can’t feel your fingers.

    Mavic warm and waterproof boots.

Really should not be advertised as waterproof. Shower proof maybe. Yes they're warm but I wore them in the rain and the boots leaked in water from everywhere. They have been on the radiator now 3 days and are still too wet inside to wear them. They become completely water logged. I'd say they have been falsely advertised!

    Great winter shoes
    by Anonymous user on 26/11/2018

Have worn these shoes in temperatures of around 5C and I found them a vast improvement on overshoes. Combined with a merino winter sock my feet have been warm and the wonders of Gore-Tex means feet remain relatively sweat free. Colder temperatures await but I'm confident these shoes will be up to it. The shoes do an excellent job of keeping your feet dry from road spray, and the cold wind doesn't penetrate. My only gripe would be the gaitor. It's difficult to get a tight fit around the ankle which may result in water getting into the shoe in heavy rain. Wearing your tights over the gator in downpours may help. The shoes are on the small side as most cycling shoes are. I'm usually a UK 10 (Mavic 44 2/3) in civvies, and ended up with a UK 11 (Mavic 46) in these.

    Goretex always works for me
    by Anonymous user on 27/10/2018

Only used these once so far, but I came back with dry feet, so promising. Build quality is excellent, but fit might be tricky. I usually buy 43 in street shoes and go for 44 in cycling shoes. I had to send back the 44 of these as too small. If they fit you, they will be great, but be prepared to send them back as they won't suit everyone.
