Product Description

Rapid off-roading. The Merida Big Nine 100 is a hardtail mountain bike, with lightweight and fast rolling 29” wheels with robust components, for riding cross MTB riding.

The lightweight Techno Formed aluminium alloy frame features modern 29er XC geometry, with a longer top tube shorter stem and slacker head angle, that offers improved downhill stability while maintaining climbing prowess.  The 29” wheels offer fast rolling performance over single track and rough terrain. The Suntour XCM fork offers 100mm of suspension travel to smooth the trail and features a hydraulic lockout for efficiency on smoother tracks.

The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer confident stopping power in all weather conditions while the Shimano Altus/Alivio 3x9 speed drivetrain gives you a wide range of gears for taking on all the climbs on your route.

Nice bike no problem with pedals excellent bike for the money rode for two months and very happy with my purchase only issue is chain went rusty after couple of rides replaced and no problems good bye.

Usual high quality from Merida, delivered with only the pedals to fit and bars to turn. Disappointed seat is Q/r as easy to be stolen. Pedals could be better quality, but that's nit-picking on an otherwise excellent bike.
