Product Description

Rapid off-road riding. The Merida Big Seven 100 is a hardtail mountain bike with lightweight and nimble handling 27.5” (650b) wheels and robust components, for cross country MTB riding.

With its modern 650b XC geometry, the lightweight Techno Formed aluminium alloy frame features a longer top tube with a shorter stem and slacker head angle. This combines to offer a familiar cross country riding position but with improved stability on the descents and assured climbing efficiency. The 27.5” (650b) wheels offer the ideal compromise between rapid rolling efficiency and nimble handling characteristics. Up front the SR Suntour XCM fork offers 100mm of suspension travel to smooth the trail and features a hydraulic lockout for efficiency on smoother tracks.

Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer confident stopping power in all weather conditions while the Shimano Altus 3x9 speed drivetrain offers a wide range of gears for taking on all the climbs on your route.

Very Good

Over all good beginner to intermediate bike, I personaly have found this bike worth its price, when i push harder on the trails the bike feels hindered, the gear ratio is very very good and the brakes are nice and sharp. Worth it if you only do xc or light trail rides.
