Product description

Attack the trail. The Nukeproof Scout 275 Race is a trail ready hardtail MTB with a playful nature that goes right back to the roots of mountain biking, but with all the advantages of a thoroughly modern design.

The hydroformed 6061 aluminium frame is stiff and features aggressive trail geometry - a slack 66 degree head angle, short, 425mm chainstays and low, -50mm, bottom bracket height. The 12mm bolt through axle stiffens up the rear end while the tapered head tube keeps the front end in check. Internal cable routing is ready for a stealthy dropper post upgrade.

The RockShox Sector GRL fork offers 140mm of plush suspension travel while the Shimano SLX/Deore 2x10 speed drivetrain offers reliable shifting over a wide range of gears, so you can nail the climbs as well as the descents.

Rail berms, hit jumps, explore endless singletrack and session the pump track – you can do it all on the Nukeproof Scout 275.

2016 Scout 275

This is my first nukeproof mtb , and after a month of owning it I'm really pleased, don't bother reading all these mtb magazines reviews on this take a gamble and I promise it will pay off , I added a nukeproof dropper post which is a must, the bike climbs with ease and on the decents it flys , only thing I'm changing is the rear tyre to something with a little more tread coz at moment it's tail happy , some people might like it sliding but me I like it more grippy ,, overall great looking hard tail what can make some folk on full sus look silly when you pass them with ease on the trails , it's light , well built , looks amazing and will put a smile on your face ,
