Product Description

Ideal for multiday tours and self-supported races, the Ortlieb Gravel-Pack duo offers you a combined payload of 25 litres for additional gear such as mess kits, food and other “luxury” items. Mounting the Pack to your lowrider bike rack allows you to maintain a low centre of gravity and undiminished off-road agility despite your extra gear.

While the Pack’s streamlined design – without inside pockets and a shoulder-strap pad – helps to keep it in the featherweight class, its lightweight, wear-resistant material withstands even the harshest of rock and gravel conditions you encounter on your way. And no matter how wet the weather, your things will stay dry thanks to the proven Ortlieb-waterproof quality and roll closure.

With the QL2.1 system and two mounting hooks, the Gravel-Pack remains tightly attached to your bike rack while you ride over hill and dale on your gravel grinder, mountain bike or fat bike.

Key Features:
  • Reflectors
  • Strap-buckle closure

Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.

Excellent bags

These bags are very strong and appear very good quality. I've had no issues with rain getting in and they fit my Tubus front rack perfectly and lock on well. Very happy with these pannier bags.

Pannier Bags Guide

What are pannier bags?

Pannier bags hang from the sides of luggage racks and enable you to carry heavy loads with minimal fuss. A pannier either side evenly distributes weight and lowers the bike’s centre of gravity, although you can just use one for smaller loads.

Who needs pannier bags?

Panniers are great for commuting, as you can fit in everything you need – a change of clothes, shoes, lunch, laptop, files, etc. On a grander scale, panniers are the ideal accompaniment for touring adventures, as the equivalent of a suitcase.

What are the choices?

The pannier choice is vast, from attractive designs to classic colour schemes. Waterproofing is an obvious factor, to prevent soggy luggage. Panniers with straps mean you can easily transfer them from the bike and use as a bag and plenty of pockets or separate compartments make organisation a doddle.

What should I buy with them?

Panniers need a rack to hang from. If you’re hanging one at the front, you’ll need oversized bars. At the back, you’ll need eyelets in the frame for a rack or you can find quick release racks, although these carry less weight.

Anything else?

Panniers make a great alternative to backpacks when it comes to preventing back injuries.
