The Peruzzo Lucky2 single bike roof fitting rack is built from durable steel. Your bike sits into a wheel channel and an adjustable clamps fits around the downtube for secure fastening. The Lucky2 fits most roof bars measuring 70x55mm.

By carrying your bike on the roof of your vehicle you leave the boot free so it can be easily accessed. A roof mounted bike rack also avoids obstructing the rear lights and number plate.

    Key Features

      • Two piece V try fits up to 55mm tyres
      • TUV Tested to DIN Standards
      • Straps tested to 150 kg.
      • Powder Coated Anti Rust Treatment
      • Use with roofbars up to 70mm wide X 55mm
      • 100% Manufactured in Italy

    Cheap but two person job...

So you get what you pay for - something which feels like its £20. Not much of a problem as it seems to work. BUT - for my bike (Specialized Sirrus hybrid thingy) the main clamp for this rack requires complete disassembly (nut, washer, bolt and spring) to allow the clamp to open enough to clamp onto the frame. There is no way I will be able to hold the bike on top of the car whilst reassembling the clamp. There are straps which can also be attached through the wheels to assist in securing the bike whilst it is in top of the car, but these will never hold the bike upright while I faff around with the main clamp. Basically, whilst the clamp does fit in the frame, it's a 2-person job to attach it - which is no good for me. Note a previous reviewer does mention something along these lines. I'll be contacting Tredz to see if I can get a refund as it's of no use to me.
