Product Description
The most aggressive model dedicated to e-bikes: made for those who seek fun and performance without compromises.
The tall profile and widely spaced tread pattern cuts into and grips any kind of loose or soft terrain.
The Scorpion™ E-MTB is the best choice for any single-track with soft terrain where grip and reliability are key factors.
The Scorpion™ E-MTB S tread pattern is made up of deep and widely spaced knobs that bite into the terrain and provide maximum levels of grip. The height and rigidity of the tread increases grip in soft terrain guaranteeing traction and braking as well as excellent support when cornering. The specific spacing of the Scorpion™ E-MTB S tread pattern also helps the tyre to get rid of mud.
Pirelli added Lignin to its E-MTB specific compound called SmartGRIP+. Lignin is a naturally sourced chemical component that enhances performance in light of the unique speed and torque features associated with electric motors of modern E-MTBikes. The rider benefits from enhanced tire performance, even under the higher speed and torque of E-MTB riding.
Sidewall Technology: HyperWALL™ is a newly designed, patented construction that increases even further handling and pinch flat resistance. Key in off-road applications, especially in the most demanding ones such as gravity and eMTB, the integrity of the bead area and the stability of the sidewalls are a founding pillar for the overall tyre performance.
