Product Description

Endurance and comfort aplenty, the Scott Speedster 10 sportive road bike is built for long distance rides and all-day adventures. At its core, the speedster 10 has a double butted 6061 alloy frame, along with carbon fork with a carbon tapered steerer. These bestow the bike with responsively lightweight handling, with a measure of vibration absorption that helps to minimise fatigue. True to its name, the Speedster 10 comes complete with a 2x11 speed Shimano 105 drivetrain that gives quick and precise gearshifts across a wide range of ratios, so you’ll always be pedalling at your optimum rate.

Good commuter

I use the bike to commute. The wider tyres and good brakes makes for a confident ride. The handlebars are larger than previous bikes I have had and again creates confidence in riding for a fairly light bike. Gears are smooth aswell and it’s a great bike to commute through but not the fastest bike ever so if someone is after something very fast look at 25m aero.

Shame about the brakes

Build seemed to be good apart from the brakes that were crimped and installed incorrectly, so when the break was applied the callipers wouldn't release and got tighter and tighter. Took the bike to a local mechanic from my club who said the brake cables were now useless and had to be replaced.
