Excellent for price

When it gets too cold for my silk liners I fall back to these. They are a little rough and ready but they keep the hands warm most effectively and for the price can't be beaten. I'm on my second pair.

Warm hands

Thin and a snug fit so able to wear underneath my long fingered gloves and definitely made a difference in keeping the chill out on early morning rides.

Cycling Gloves Guide

What are cycling gloves?

Cycling gloves are specially adapted to cosset your hands while riding. Cycling can put a lot of pressure on your palms, so dedicated bike gloves are very important.

Who needs cycling gloves?

Every rider will benefit from gloves. They aren’t just to keep your hands warm – they provide grip, protection and essential padding.

What are the choices?

Long fingered for winter, short fingered or mitts for summer. Off roaders might want long gloves, perhaps with armoured knuckles, all year round. There are gloves with minimal padding and seams, or mitts with gel cushioning to protect your nerves.

What should I buy with it?

More gloves! Most cyclists will need a long fingered pair of gloves in winter and mitts for summer.

Anything else?

About that little bit of terry fabric on the thumb – yes, it really is for wiping your snotty nose on as you ride. Because of this, you really need to be washing your gloves as often as you wash the rest of your kit.
