Product Description

The Ragecollection will no longer be known as the “Kyle Strait.” Loic Bruni took a special interest in the RAGE line and won World Cup races with his prototypes. He sketched ideas and brainstormed concepts with our designers focusing on weight reduction, extended coverage zones and improved breathability. The result of Bruni’s obsession is the new RAGE family, which is versatile enough to climb and descend the world’s best mountains.

  • Internal flexible knee impact cap covered by Kevlar Stretch mesh sandwiches dense perforated impact EVA on the inside and outside of knee and shin
  • Internal silicon printing on top and bottom elastic and in knee pocket area holds the pads in place

Good pads

Good looking pads but I was quite near the top size for the large and unfortunately they didn’t fit

Very bad design

There is nothing inside the guard that holds the material to your leg so it always slides down and doesn't offer any protection to the knee by the time your at the bottom of the trial.

Good value and leg coverage

Bought these in a Large size after measuring my legs countless times in an attempt to get something that fitted me that I didn't have to return! The sizing is perfect - they are tight fitting so if you are right on the upper limit for one size, size up. They feel secure and after a quick pedal on the bike, they feel like they'll stay put too. The coverage down the leg to the calf is excellent too and should provide good protection for an old duffer like me. Only downside would be that there was lots of stitch cracking and snapping as I pulled them on, which maybe an issue for their long term life. At the sale price of £44 these are a good buy but I'm not sure I would spend any more on them - I had looked at Dianese and Fox pads too, but both were £60+ so these were a good buy. Good delivery as always from Tredz.

Protective Guide

What is protective equipment?

Protective equipment includes knee pads, elbow pads, shin guard, wrist guards and back protection – any semi-rigid guards you might wear for risky riding.

Who needs protective equipment?

Protective equipment is often favoured by off-road riders, such as mountain bikers tackling riskier activities such as downhilling. Also, stunt riders such as BMXers or jump bike riders might also need them.

What are the choices?

You can choose padding for your arms, legs and back. Some protective gear is made from more flexible material that only hardens on impact – clever stuff.

What should I buy with it?

Don’t forget your head – a full face helmet offers you the best protection for more adventurous cycling activities.

Anything else?

Think about how your padding will fit with the rest of your cycling clothing. Does it go under or over your clothes and will it be compatible with the rest of your cycling wardrobe?
