The 2016 Specialized Allez E5 has everything you need to get out on the road and riding, fast. One of the most advanced alloy road bikes ever it’s an ideal choice for first time racers, club riders and weekend warriors.
Lightweight E5 alloy frame
At it’s heart is a high quality E5 Aluminium frame which is light, stiff and strong for true road bike performance. You can use the frame for the daily grind to work then really push it to the limits at the weekend.
The frame tubes are double butted to improve their strength to weight ratio - so you can ride faster, easier.
Each Allez comes in six different sizes. Each has size specific frame tubes and construction to deliver the perfect balance between stiffness, weight and compliance, no matter how tall you are.
Upfront you get a FACT carbon bladed fork (the same as found on the higher priced Sport and Elite models). This fork improves your steering precision, ideal on a fast sportive or club race. It also efficiently absorbs road chatter to leave your hands and arms less fatigued as you clock up the miles.
Equipped is an 8 speed Shimano Claris drivetrain with compact cranks and a wide range cassette. This gives you a broad selection of gears with low ranges to make climbing easier.
The Axis wheelset offers durable performance and well matched to Espoir tyres. These 25c tyres offer increased comfort and cornering efficiency as well as low rolling resistance. Black belt protection means fewer flats for hassle free riding.
Body Geometry contact points improve your comfort, especially on longer rides. The Toupe saddle relieves pressure points while riding and short reach bars put you into a more comfortable riding position.

Recently purchased the Allez 2016 as recommended by a friend who has the 2013. not been on a road bike for 30 years, and doing a charity 120 mile ride in 2016. This bike is an excellent bike.
