Fatboy 29 x 1.7

Very disappointed with this purchase. Read loads of brilliant reviews on these tyres. Got these slicks to replace my continental speedkings 2.2 racesport on my hardtail I use for road rides as couldn’t get used to riding a road bike again after 25 years. The fatboy seems pretty indestructible ok for smooth flat tarmac and prob make a good commute tyre. But they are slow they don’t carry any speed! You can be cruising at 19mph hit a slight incline or rough tarmac and they just loose all their speed! On a 14 mile loop ride from home my time was 1:05 and my heart rate zones nearly all amber and red. On my continentals my time was 58 and heart rate zones mainly green and no red. If your going from full on knobbly tyres you will notice a difference but they are not fast!! Go for the bigger speed kings much quicker!!
