Squire Mako Combination 900mm Chain Lock - Sold Secure Silver

Just purchased and does exactly what it says on the tin! What is need is a carrier which can contain the lock and easily attach to the frame somehow. Even better would be for the manufacturer of bikes to engineer a device in which a secure pin can somehow be removed in and out of the crank to eliminate the need for big heavy chains!

With that chain you can be sure nobody is gonna steal your bike. However is not comfortable carying it with you because it's quite heavy. If you have expensive bike then I recommend to buy something good like this one.

This is a solid bit of kit. Went for the number combination lock as with my memory I would forget to take a key with me at certain times. Programmed the key combi into my phone so that I will not forget.This comes with a fair bit of weight but that is to be expected from a quality chain and lock. Easy to set your own personal code with specialised key. Five digit code, with nice clear numbers and easy turning tumblers. Would of liked the chain longer so that it went through both wheels, but not the end of the world. Have quick release front wheel so just need to take that off and secure to back wheel. All in all a solid bit of kit that hopefully the average t-leaf will be put off.

I bought this lock for an expensive bike. It is heavy and feels very secure. The number lock is solid and needs a key to change the code. Being a five digit code, it will be very difficult to crack the code and the thickness of the chain will also be extremely difficult to break or cut. I am satisfied with the build quality of this chain lock and can recommend this product.
