The Axiom Journey Deluxe front rack is hand welded from 10.2mm tubular aluminium alloy for extra strength and light weight. It is an ideal way to carry a pair of panniers on the front of your bike.

For trekking and touring, a front rack is essential to increase your load carrying ability and as this rack will carry 15kg per side, it will make a massive difference to your overall capacity.

Includes both the left and right side racks.

    Lightweight Rack

I was deciding between this rack and the one specifically made for suspension forks (http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Axiom-Journey-Suspension-and-Disc-Lowrider-Front-Rack_54656.htm). I've got a hybrid bike with a suspension fork and wheels of 700c size. One thing to mention my suspension forks have the extra holes for the mudguards at the back similar to this one (http://www.tredz.co.uk/.SR-Suntour-700c-NCX-MLO-Hybrid-Fork-2013_67820.htm). I've tried the both racks as they're super light but didn't go for the one made specifically for the suspension racks as it is mounted to the wheel hub which I didn't like. Anyway the trick here is to swap the sides so the left rack comes to the right side of the wheel. This works perfectly on my suspension fork however you will need to get a pair of longer screws as the ones in the package will be too short to go through the mudguard holes on the fork. Will update this review after my European trip.

    Adaptable Low Rider Rack

I found this rack to be well made but had to make some of my own modifications to get it to fit my traditional touring bike. It now works very well and should be up to any heavy loads.

    Great front pannier rack

Good price. Fits well onto my bike. Had no issues. The little tabs at top prevent the bags I have from sliding off which is why I chose this model.
