Lightweight alloy frame

Built around a quality 6061 aluminium frame which is strong and lightweight the Cannondale trail offers a high quality ride for a hardtail at this price point. This is the same frame that is found on the higher end trail models.

The trail is comfortable over rough ground - for a hardtail mtb - thanks to Save Stays in the rear triangle. The seat and chainstays are shaped to provide vertical compliance which helps to take the sting out of rough trail surfaces without compromising pedaling efficiency.

Rockshox suspension fork

The XC30 fork offers 100mm of suspension travel. Proven race damping provides controlled bump absorption so that you can take on rough trails with confidence. you can control the way the fork reacts thanks to adjustable rebound damping. A lockout lever allows you to ride with more efficiency on smooth surfaces.

Shimano gears

The Shimano Alivio 3x9 speed drivetrain offers a wide range of gears so that you can take on all the varied gradients that you will find on off-road trails. Hydraulic disc brakes offer powerful, reliable and consistent stopping power so that you can control your speed with confidence whatever the weather.
